Patrick Ryan is a certified arborist who has held executive responsibilities with the Batista Group in Lombard, Illinois, for the past seven years. He focuses on such tasks as landscaping; addressing environmental concerns associated with single- and multifamily-housing developments; and rehabilitating brownsites, which refers to land previously developed but not in use. Patrick Ryan works regularly with state and local commissions and homeowner groups in coordinating solutions, in addition to undertaking bioremediation and upgrades to critical infrastructures as a member of the International Society of Arboriculture. During his first year with Batista, he also served as an assistant public works director in the Village of Homewood.

Ryan’s past positions include a term as the public works director of the City of Berwyn, Illinois. In this role, he oversaw a team that maintained and operated village infrastructures such as a portable water-pumping and -distribution network and extensive roadways and rights-of-ways. As a certified Class-C Water Operator, he also supervised the upkeep of collection systems for storm and sanitary sewage. Among other achievements, Ryan obtained a major federal grant that covered utility-upgrade expenses.
